Amit, the passionate musical personality! A true singer, tabla player, poet and composer having more than 20 years of experience in the field of music. Few remarkable achievements - The Alpha ZEE TV Marathi Sa Re Ga Ma finalist 2001, Recipient of Kala Upasak Puraskar(Award) in 2013 by Sukhkarta Sanskritik Pratisthan, Parvati.

The professional Marathi album got published in 2012 by name ,”Naati Smraychi!” where industry artist like Shaan, Vibhavari Joshi-Apte, Nihira Joshi-Deshpande, Ameya Date have given their voice for the album. 

Amit performed on stage as Tabla accompanist for more than 300 live concerts where accompanying Gurudeo Shankar Abhyankar for his spiritual kirtans/(discourses) was absolutely remarkable. In the field of singing, has performed on stage as a singer for more than 600 live concerts.

Contributed for spiritual album as a singer, composer and tabla accompanist like Shiva Stotra, Devi Stotra and bhajans for Gurukul Ashram in Nasik where every year almost 500 to 1000  foreigners visit the ashram for yoga training. 

Article got published in popular magazine of Desouza Foundation, Mumbai on “Music as the best healing source!” and it was appreciated by many. 

In 2001, one Marathi book of poems got published by name, ”Ayushyashi Boltana”. Worked on digital audio album of Marathi and English poems which is available here . Recipient of Zero Mile Icon award,  Maharashtra Goa Kalaa Ratna award and Dadasaheb Phalke Icon award/ KAF award. Was fortunate enough to receive blessings of Bharatratna Lata Didi in 2011.
